Australia's pharmacy shortages have been mapped for the first time, and the picture is more complex than stereotypes suggest. Northern Territory remote communities have the fewest pharmacies per person, per ABC News, but outer suburbs of Melbourne also face significant shortages compared to other parts of the country. The findings show that pharmacy deserts aren't confined to rural and remote regions.
