Ukrainian drones strike two Wildberries warehouses in Russia, sparking fires and injuring workers

Ukrainian drones struck two logistics centers belonging to the Russian online retailer Wildberries, one in Krasnodar and one in Nevinnomyssk, Meduza reports. Company head Tatyana Kim said employees were injured at both sites, and both warehouses were evacuated. Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov put the toll at five hurt in Nevinnomyssk, where doctors treated them on site, while Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said ten people were injured there, four of them taken to hospitals. Local authorities declared a local state of emergency in the fire zone, and Emergency Situations Ministry helicopters were brought in to fight the blazes. It is the second time in a week that Ukraine has hit Wildberries facilities. Strikes on July eighteenth in Kotovsk, in the Tambov region, and in Elektrostal near Moscow killed eight people and injured around eighty. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has explained the attacks by saying the warehouses held components for drone production and navigation equipment.
