House GOP's parting message for Senate on reconciliation

Axios reports the package includes billions for the war in Iran, farm assistance, and parts of the SAVE America Act. Senate Majority Leader John Thune wants to wait until government funding is resolved — but House leaders are saying the Senate needs to act before November. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise emphasized that reconciliation bills require only a simple majority, so Republicans can't hide behind the filibuster. Thune has repeatedly said he doesn't have the votes.
