The latest US troops killed in Trump’s Iran war are remembered for lives of service

world

The Guardian reports that the Pentagon this week identified three American service members killed, and a fourth believed to have been killed, in the Middle East over the past week, amid an escalation in fighting between United States and Iranian forces. Those remembered include Angel Rampersad, Michael Swinton, Isabella Gonzales and Tyler Feehan — among eighteen US troops killed in the war. As the Guardian tells it, they ranged from a thirty-year-old husband and father of two, to a twenty-five-year-old officer just weeks from earning his MBA, to a nineteen-year-old recent high school graduate, and a twenty-eight-year-old from Queens, New York, described as having a radiant smile.
