Astronomers may have detected an exomoon

Astronomers have detected evidence of what could be an exomoon — a moon orbiting a planet far beyond our solar system. Using the Very Large Telescope in Chile, they've identified a moon-sized companion in a distant planetary system. Boing Boing reports that if confirmed, this would be the first exomoon ever detected, though scientists have pursued similar leads before.
