Wildfires trigger mass evacuations across France and Spain

Wildfires are forcing mass evacuations across parts of France and Spain. Euronews reports that out-of-control blazes in south-western France and central Spain have driven tens of thousands of people from their homes. In France, flames swept through the Cap Ferret peninsula, injuring forty-two firefighters, while Spain declared a historic national emergency as separate fires threatened to merge near Madrid and Ávila.
