One killed and 15 injured after van crashes into crowd at Berlin Pride

Berlin's annual Pride march was called off Saturday after a van drove into a crowd near the parade route in Tiergarten park. The Guardian reports that at least one person was killed and about fifteen others injured, several with life-threatening wounds. Police urged everyone to leave immediately and shut down the event, one of Europe's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations, only hours after it had begun.
