US pauses attacks on Iran for a second straight day, Tehran does too

France 24 is reporting that for a second straight day, both the United States and Iran have paused their military operations, as efforts continue to bring the two countries back to negotiating an interim ceasefire deal. The pause follows a two-week escalation initiated by Iran's attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and subsequent US strikes targeting Iranian coastal infrastructure.
