Framework Laptop 13 Pro review: Much better battery, much worse price

Framework's latest Laptop 13 update, called the Pro model, represents the most significant overhaul to the design since the original. Per Ars Technica, the Pro substantially improves battery life, which had been a persistent weakness of earlier versions. The redesign does come with trade-offs—it breaks backward compatibility with some existing components, including the keyboard, trackpad, and battery designs. The new model also carries a notably higher price tag. But the improvements in battery life and overall fit and finish appear to address longstanding criticisms of the line.
