Breaking: Magnitude-7.1 quake hits Japan, sparks tsunami warnings

A magnitude seven point one earthquake has struck Kumamoto prefecture in south-western Japan, ABC News reports. The quake triggered tsunami warnings for waves of up to one metre along the coast.
