Trump administration forced treatment on hunger striker in ICE detention, document reveals

According to The Guardian, an ICE health document confirms at least one person on a hunger strike in immigration detention was subjected to forced treatment sometime between October and December of last year, including force feeding, forced hydration, urinary catheterization, or involuntary blood draws. The report, published online by the ICE Health Service Corps, marks the first confirmed instance of such treatment under the current administration. Healthcare associations and international human rights groups have characterized these practices as torture.
