French patrol boat appears to fire gunshots in the Channel during MP's BBC interview

A French patrol boat fired seventeen shots in the English Channel during a live BBC interview, BBC News reports. The vessel opened fire as the broadcaster was in conversation with Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp.
