Rubio seeks to reassure Gulf states over Iran deal

According to France 24, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is reassuring Gulf allies about American support as Washington negotiates a settlement to the Middle East conflict with Iran. The Gulf states have experienced Iranian missile and drone attacks, and faced economic disruption from Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which disrupted oil and gas shipments. On his regional tour this week, Rubio is promising those nations their interests will be protected in any final agreement with Tehran.
