Zoox clears final federal hurdle to launch paid robotaxi service

Zoox, Amazon's autonomous vehicle company, has cleared a major regulatory hurdle. The company received a temporary exemption from federal safety regulators allowing it to charge customers for rides in its custom-built robotaxi, per TechCrunch. Zoox can now launch its paid robotaxi service.
