world

A wildfire has torn through more than two hundred acres of the Suffolk coast, prompting a major incident declaration and the evacuation of hundreds of people. The blaze, just a few miles from the Sizewell B nuclear power station, was still not fully under control as of Thursday afternoon, the Guardian reports, citing Suffolk's chief fire officer. Sizewell B is monitoring the fire, and the RSPB nature reserve in the area has been badly affected.
