Leaking tents, 'substandard' gear given to sub-Antarctic expeditioners

ABC News reports the Australian Antarctic Division issued substandard clothing and leaking tents to expeditioners on an island roughly four thousand kilometres southwest of the Australian mainland. The Division says there are lessons to be learnt from the equipment failures.
