Earthquake survivors battle sweltering heat in shelters as death toll rises

At least thirty-four people have died and nine thousand others have been displaced after a magnitude seven point one earthquake struck south-west Japan, ABC News reports. Survivors are now sheltering through sweltering heat as the death toll continues to climb.
