The death toll in the Ceuta border crisis has risen to sixty-seven, according to the Spanish government, after tens of thousands of migrants crossed into the Spanish enclave from Morocco this week. The Guardian reports that Spain now plans to install a containment barrier extending from the breakwater into the sea to deter further crossings, with the foreign minister saying nearly everyone who entered Ceuta has already returned to Morocco.
