Kmart sells out of low-cost rival to Meta camera glasses across Australia amid warnings of ‘privacy nightmare’

Kmart has sold out of Anko camera glasses across Australia, according to The Guardian. Priced at eighty-nine dollars, these clear-lens, black-rimmed glasses can record high-definition video and capture images, and they're positioned as a cheaper alternative to Meta's smartglasses. But a digital rights expert has warned that they present a 'privacy nightmare,' since bystanders could be filmed without their consent. As of Monday, the glasses had sold out in Kmart stores and online nationwide.
