MHA proposes giving police powers to order banks, telcos to share information, disable scam-linked accounts

Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs is proposing to give police the power to order banks and telecom companies to share information about scam-linked accounts and disable them. Businesses that don't comply with the Online Criminal Harms Act would face higher fines.
