Daphne Caruana Galizia was investigating corruption linked to businessman Yorgen Fenech and Malta's government when she was killed in a car bombing in October twenty seventeen, The Guardian reports. Fenech now stands trial for her murder, accused of commissioning and paying for the killing. Her investigation included examining a leak from Electrogas, part-owned by Fenech.
