Arson suspect arrested as US northwest battles wildfires

Authorities have arrested a suspect on arson charges as wildfires continue to burn across the US northwest, Channel NewsAsia reports. Three fires have scorched more than ten thousand acres near Spokane, destroying hundreds of buildings and forcing thousands of residents to evacuate.
