'My grandmother subjected my baby to female genital mutilation behind my back'

Colombia has enacted a landmark bill banning female genital mutilation, a practice still carried out by some members of an indigenous group in the country. According to BBC World, the case came to light after a woman said her grandmother subjected her baby to the procedure without her knowledge.
