Fly over ancient Rome as it looked in the second century

Boing Boing reports that filmmaker Manuel Bravo has created Virtual Rome, a video reconstruction of the ancient city as it stood in the second century AD, its buildings at their architectural peak. Using camera movements that simulate drone footage, the project offers a perspective no Roman ever had—a sweeping view over the rooftops of the ancient metropolis.
