A former neo-Nazi activist convicted of harassing a Jewish MP has withdrawn as a Conservative election candidate, the Guardian reports, after his selection sparked outcry from Jewish groups and others. Joshua Bonehill-Paine said Kemi Badenoch has instead offered him an advisory role on the party's culture and integration commission, focused on how young men become radicalized.
