Indian journalist Tarun Tejpal convicted in rape case

A Bombay High Court bench in Goa has overturned a 2021 acquittal, convicting Indian journalist Tarun Tejpal in a rape case. Tejpal, a former editor known for founding the investigative outlet Tehelka, had been cleared of all charges by a trial court five years earlier.
