Foster + Partners cleared over man’s death when window fell from London penthouse

A crown court has cleared Foster + Partners, the architecture firm founded by Norman Foster and known for buildings like the Gherkin, of responsibility for the death of Mick Ferris, a fifty-three-year-old coach driver killed when a window fell ninety metres from a newly built London penthouse in twenty eighteen. The Guardian reports that project managers and engineers were found guilty of safety breaches in the case.
