McConnell discharged from rehab center, Senate return still unclear

Per Axios, Senator Mitch McConnell has been discharged from a rehabilitation facility and returned home more than two months after being hospitalized in June. The eighty-four-year-old has not appeared publicly since that time, fueling questions about his capacity to serve through the end of his term in January twenty twenty-seven. In a statement, McConnell said he will maintain an intensive physical therapy regimen at home and continue engaging with Senate colleagues on important business, though his actual return to Capitol Hill remains uncertain.
