Meta ordered to pay $567 Mn to US for 'public nuisance' and 'child harm'

A New Mexico judge has ordered Meta to pay five hundred sixty-seven million dollars over claims its platforms created a public nuisance and put children at risk online, Euronews reports. Meta says it plans to appeal, arguing it works hard to protect young users on Instagram and Facebook.
