Ruling BNP authorises PM Rahman to finalise nominee for Bangladesh's presidential elections

According to The Hindu, Bangladesh's ruling BNP party has authorized Prime Minister Rahman to finalize its nominee for the country's presidential elections. The constitution requires the presidential election to be held within ninety days of the office becoming vacant.
