Former Syrian army general arrested in Lebanon

Per Middle East Eye, Lebanon's authorities have arrested former Syrian army Major General Adel Issa, who is wanted for crimes against humanity. Issa commanded the seventeenth Division during Bashar Al-Assad's rule. A Lebanese judge has now notified Syria's Public Prosecutor and requested a judicial review to determine whether Issa can be handed over to Syrian authorities.
