Budapest’s low Danube exposes two German soldiers and a DKW motorcycle buried for 80 years

Record-low water levels on the Danube in Budapest have uncovered wartime remains buried for roughly eighty years. Recovery teams near Batthány Square found the bodies of two Wehrmacht soldiers, their identity discs, a German military motorcycle, and anti-tank mines, the Times of India reports. Officials say the finds could help identify the soldiers and shed light on the final days of the war in the city.
