Typhoon Dolphin, the strongest storm to hit China so far this year, has made landfall on the country's east coast, bringing torrential rain and powerful winds along with warnings of flooding and landslides, Reuters reports via The Guardian. The cyclone had already lashed Japan's southern Okinawa prefecture, injuring six people and cutting power to more than fifty thousand buildings.
