Egypt calls for full Israeli withdrawal and unrestricted aid access to Gaza

According to Middle East Eye, Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has called for a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and unrestricted humanitarian aid access, as part of efforts to implement US President Donald Trump's peace plan. Abdelatty made the demand during a call with an official overseeing Trump's peace initiative. The two also discussed deployment of an international force to manage security in the Palestinian territory. The proposal faces a major obstacle: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected the fifteen-point peace plan, casting doubt on whether the initiative can succeed.
