Perseid meteor shower set to dazzle northern hemisphere this week

The Perseid meteor shower is set to light up the northern hemisphere. Per The Guardian, viewing conditions are especially promising this year, with fifty to one hundred meteors an hour possible at the peak. The shower coincides with a total solar eclipse across Spain, Iceland, and Greenland, plus a six-planet parade. The best time to view the meteors will come after the eclipse passes.
