The Hindu reports that Taiwan's representative in Japan boycotted the Nagasaki bombing anniversary ceremony over a seating protocol dispute. Mr. Lee said the designated seats for himself and two deputies weren't placed in the diplomatic reserved section, so he sent a lower-ranked official from Fukuoka instead.
