Octogenarian is first killed in British Columbia wildfire

An 80-year-old woman has become the first fatality of the Bald Range wildfire in British Columbia's wine country, Canadian police say. The fire nearly doubled in size over the weekend, forcing evacuations in the area, The Straits Times reports.
