Dubai ruler confronted in London over UAE involvement in Sudan war

A Sudanese man confronted Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, on a London street on Sunday, shouting that the UAE is killing people in his country. A member of the ruler's entourage responded with a racist slur before crossing the road toward him. Middle East Eye reports the confrontation comes amid widespread evidence, including UN and MEE reporting, that the UAE has backed Sudan's Rapid Support Forces, accused of genocide during the country's ongoing civil war. The UAE continues to deny any involvement.
