Detained Malian journalist Ras Bath rejects charges as trial opens

Malian commentator Youssouf Bathily, known as Ras Bath, and activist Rose appeared before the Bamako Court of Appeal on August tenth, facing charges of criminal association and undermining state institutions, Africanews reports. Both defendants denied the accusations.
