Gas supply to parts of Balochistan suspended after main pipeline blown up in Bolan

On Wednesday, unknown individuals planted explosives beneath a main gas pipeline in Balochistan and detonated them remotely, according to Dawn. The blast damaged the 18-inch pipeline in the Bolan riverbed, cutting off gas supply to Quetta and several surrounding towns including Kolpur, Mach, Mastung, Kalat, and Pishin. The Sui Southern Gas Company said repair teams are ready but waiting for security clearance—part of a recurring pattern of pipeline attacks in the province.
