science
NASA's Astrophysics Division is hosting the Community Science Workshop—Ad ASTRA—in Pasadena to shape the next generation of space missions. According to NASA Science, the three-day event runs September first through third at Caltech, bringing astronomers and researchers together to identify scientific priorities and technological capabilities needed for major astrophysics missions in the twenty-thirties and beyond. The workshop is structured around three themes—science, capabilities, and missions—with parallel breakout sessions on topics ranging from cosmology and galaxies to exoplanets and quantum sensors. Virtual registration remains open through August thirty-first for those unable to attend in person.
