Solar panels can cool crops—and workers

Solar panels may be able to provide cooling for both agricultural workers and the crops they tend. Phys.org reports that while photovoltaic technology is expected to be a dominant energy source by twenty fifty, these installations often compete for land that would otherwise be used for food production.
