Minister says Imran taken back to Adiala jail after hospital visit, declared 'medically fit' by doctors

Dawn reports that Pakistan's information minister said Imran Khan was taken to Shifa International Hospital for a medical check-up and then shifted back to Adiala jail after doctors declared him medically fit. The visit came under a Supreme Court order, with his sister present throughout. The government's attempt to review that order was returned by the court on a technicality. Khan, who has been imprisoned since 2023, has complained of high blood pressure and other issues.
