NASA’s Artemis II Crew Set to Receive Congressional Space Medal of Honor

NASA News reports that President Donald Trump will present the Congressional Space Medal of Honor to the Artemis II crew at eleven a.m. Eastern on Friday, August twenty‑eight, during a ceremony at the Johnson Space Center. The four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Canadian Space Agency partner Jeremy Hansen—completed a ten‑day lunar flyby on April ten, becoming the first humans to travel beyond the Moon in more than fifty years and the farthest travelers in history. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman will join the President onstage, and the event will be streamed live online. The medal is the nation’s highest honor for extraordinary spaceflight achievement.
