On Friday, Simon Willison's weblog announced version 0.7 of llm-openrouter, a plugin that connects his LLM command-line tool to OpenRouter's model marketplace. The update brings compatibility with LLM 0.32 and switches to OpenRouter's Responses API, which improves support for reasoning models. It also adds three new server-side tools — Shell, WebFetch, and WebSearch — that can be enabled with command-line flags like -T WebSearch.
