JUI-F looks to join opposition ranks
politics
Pakistan's JUI-F and the TTAP alliance have agreed in principle to form a joint opposition platform in parliament, Dawn reports. JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman said the country's law and order is deteriorating, with two provinces facing war-like conditions, and that Pakistan had damaged China's confidence. He also said the opposition would take its collective position directly to the people. Other leaders, including opposition leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai, warned against attempts to seize the country's resources and criticized the government's handling of the PTI founder's hospital visit, after which the opposition will consult their parties before another meeting.
