New research suggests that killers of black people are more likely to avoid capture than those who target white people. Analysis of unsolved homicides in London between twenty nineteen and twenty twenty-three found that non-white British people accounted for sixty-one percent of victims, while ninety-two point nine percent of the city's unsolved murder cases involved a non-white victim, The Guardian reports. The analysis warns that these findings risk deepening the perception of unequal protection under the law.
