Sydney shark attack survivor describes moment she came to face-to-face with ‘monster’

A Sydney teacher has described facing down a shark she called a "monster" during an attack that cost her an arm. Leah Stewart, thirty-four, was on a morning swim at Coogee beach on June thirteenth when she was bitten, and she says her thoughts turned to her one-year-old daughter in the moment. The Guardian reports this was her first interview since the incident.
