health
Two unvaccinated residents of Lancaster County have died from measles, Pennsylvania health officials confirmed Tuesday, marking the state's first measles deaths in thirty-five years. Officials say the two are also the first measles deaths reported anywhere in the US in twenty twenty-six, and are among three hundred ninety-three confirmed cases across twenty-eight counties in the state this year. Citing privacy, officials have not released further details about the individuals beyond their vaccination status and county of residence.
