NASA Science has released a hands-on activity and educator guide called SolArt to introduce elementary students to solar physics. Developed with the Multi-slit Solar Explorer Outreach Program, the project uses art to teach children about plasma, the corona, and the active Sun. The resources are designed for use in classrooms or afterschool programs and align with Next Generation Science Standards.
